Recently, a few surprisingly controversial chapters of Endlessly Yours were published. I say surprisingly because I thought this was an obvious course of events for the characters after everything that has happened. I did not expect to offend and confuse so many people (Also, I see all of you who have flocked to my page, group, and the comments to voice your support!)
I figured this would be a good place to explain some things, address some of the criticisms, and answer some of the questions that are occurring.
First: What does this threesome mean for Michael and Quinn’s bond? Shouldn’t it have hurt them?
Answer: Nothing. As described in the story, neither of them felt any negative feelings when getting intimate with Nic. They were all willing participants. They all wanted to interact with each other that way and felt love on a deep enough level that they found pleasure in the shared experience.
Quinn has come to the mature realization that sometimes, she just cannot give enough of herself physically for Michael, and Michael has accepted that about his mate. When they were first mated, Quinn had that to give Michael, and she craved it from him too. As their bond formed and solidified, they grew. They had kids. Life came at them, and suddenly more people needed more things of Quinn. Not unlike other moms, she became ‘touched out’, and physical affection sometimes became a draining task for her. Quinn still wanted to give Michael the affection he desired, but it was detrimental to her. Nic offered a solution for everyone. Nic wanted comfort from someone who truly cared for her after a traumatic event. Michael wanted to comfort her, and Quinn was fine with it. It gave them all something they needed to move forward. They were able to lean on each other like loved ones should.
As the conversation details at the end of Chapter 55, Michael has no interest in sleeping with Nic without his mate involved. It’s a fun experience for them all that is safe. They all know, love, and trust each other. They can participate in a consensual adult activity without fear as they are all on the same wavelength.
If anything, this experience strengthened their relationship. Quinn let Michael live out a fantasy, and she found it was something she enjoyed doing with him as a couple. Michael, once again, put Quinn in the driver’s seat the entire time, continually asking her if things were okay even while he acted as the dominant one in the situation.
Next: How can they sleep with other people when Azalea was repulsed by other people’s touch in His?
Answer: Azalea (and Liam) didn’t desire anyone else’s touch. They didn’t have that relationship with anyone. When someone else with that intent touched them, they were repulsed because neither of them had that intent. Allowing someone else to touch them sexually without the other’s consent was a betrayal of the bond. Other people were able to touch Azalea, like Felix and Azeron, but they never did so in a way that could be interpreted as sexual or had that intent.
Some complained that Quinn should never have done that, and it cheapened their bond. To this, I have to say I disagree. For one, Quinn was the one who initiated this. Michael was genuinely distressed when he started to feel turned on by what Nic was doing. Nic didn’t do it intentionally, either. Quinn assured him it was okay and asked Nic if she wanted to participate. I thought it would be clear that everyone was willing once the most timid and questioning of the trio voiced her desire to try.
Additionally, sharing experiences like that does not cheapen or ruin any real bond. It can bring you closer if you have a strong relationship and are firm in setting boundaries that everyone is comfortable with. Sometimes, experimenting together can strengthen that love and trust further. The trust someone like Quinn puts in their partner when adding someone to the mix is a significant factor here. Quinn is naturally submissive and only ‘takes charge’ in small ways. She trusts Michael to know if anything changes for her and act accordingly. That level of trust is deep.
In reference to many readers asking about the real-life version of events, I will say this: Mr. QQ has always been in my corner. He has never pushed me to do something I was unwilling to do. He is the more sexually adventurous between us, but our private time has never ruined anything for our relationship, only added to it or brought us closer. Mr. QQ has always put the ball in my court and let me come to him when I think it’s a ball I can score with. If something ever arises where I change my mind, he immediately changes course. Whatever I am uncomfortable or unwilling to do is stopped, and he ensures that I am returned to a situation or position I am comfortable in once again. The constant consent checks in spicy scenes are real. He trusts me to communicate that with him, and I know he will never react negatively if I do.
Like I have said many times before, I welcome criticism of my stories. If everyone agreed with absolutely everything each of my characters did, none of you would want to talk and discuss the work; you would get very bored quickly. I welcome criticism, but I do have to say that the nasty comments and threats do sting some. While most readers know that the events of Inevitably Yours and Endlessly Yours are loosely based on my own life, not everyone does. I don’t expect readers to comment from a point of empathy for the actual events behind the fiction. But it does hurt when readers want to be righteous about the choices of fictional characters, as if they were scolding me as the writer for having poor morals.
After a lot of discussion with Mr. QQ, I think some of the objections are coming from a place of self-insertion into the story. I think it is natural to put yourself into the shoes of the main character of the story you are reading; you are living the story through their eyes. I think it is even easier to do when you relate strongly to that character. I also think it is important to remember that when reading the story, Quinn is her own she-wolf with her own thoughts, feelings, and circumstances. She has shared experiences with many of you readers, but she is also different in ways.
I would also like to say that not everyone processes trauma the same way. Quinn is able to be the mate she is because of her other half. Quinn has someone willing to go to the ends of the Earth to protect her and right the wrongs against her. And she learned that along the way. She can be comfortable with Michael dominating her sexually because she trusts him; he has proven to her that she can and always will have ultimate control.
Thank you to the readers that enjoyed this part of the story and made sure to tell me. It is very encouraging to know I hit my mark for many of you. Thank you to those that read it even though the content in question was not necessarily their preference. For those that chose not to read because you were against the activities in the chapters, I am sorry you missed it.
I am writing this from my hotel room before training begins. I think my travel companions are ready for my laptop light to go out, so I will leave it there. I hope you all are ready to join Q&M&N when I get back. (And thanks for getting this posted for me Mr. QQ! <3)

September 26, 2022 - 6:43 pm ·Love you QQ. Peeps need to adopt the old saying, “if you don’t have anything nice to say, dont say anything” I thought it was all pretty self explanatory in the actual chapter but guess not. Keep doing you!

September 26, 2022 - 6:43 pm ·Perfectly written Q. I am behind you 1000000000% as always. I support you and your writing. You have a right to write how you want. No one should tell you otherwise. I just wish everyone could join your group to discuss it more instead or lashing out in the comments. They should talk to you privately with their concerns, rather than posting them without thought.
Enjoy your trip and we will see you after Mr. QQ gets give time with you.

September 27, 2022 - 4:04 am ·I completely fell in love with your work, as much as those chapters brought back painful memories of a close family member (exactly the same as Q/M/N) it never ended well for her, it took many years to get her back. HOWEVER, I was always supportive of her life choices, they are all grown adults. I never judged, whether I agree / disagree, Q Its a shame that people are rude, whether lack of knowledge or just plain option, there is no need for threats / rudeness. I will support you guys always from across the waters. Thank you x

May 27, 2023 - 3:12 am ·I love all your books. I have nothing but good experiences reading your stories. I 100% support you. You are one of my favorite authors and I will continue to read everything you write. Let the haters hate- they have nothing better to do but be rude to an amazing person. I love the relationship you and Mr QQ have. It makes me mad that you had to explain yourself which you shouldn’t have too. Just know I will always support you no matter what. Take care of yourself and your family.
